Scholar in Residence to visit Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple

Danny Siegel, an expert on philanthropy, will present different sessions as the Scholar in Residence at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.

After Shabbat service at 6 p.m. on Nov. 17, he will present “Shabbat and Mitzvah Heroes” during a dinner at 7 p.m. RSVP required.

On Nov. 18, there will be an adult Torah study at 9:30 a.m., followed by a parents study at 10:45 a.m. and lunch/afternoon study beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Seventh graders and their parents  will prepare for their B’nai Mitzvah at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 19, followed by a program at 11 a.m. to challenge high school students on what it means to take Judaism seriously.
