South Amboy liquor store sells jackpot lottery ticket

Three Jersey Cash 5 tickets split a $727,623 jackpot in Cumberland, Essex and Middlesex counties.

Three tickets matched all five numbers drawn – 03, 13, 25, 27 and 39 and the XTRA number 04 – splitting the jackpot from the Nov. 1 drawing. Each ticket is worth $242,541.

The tickets were sold at Main Liquor, 533 Main St., South Amboy, Waa Laa King in Bridgeton, Cumberland County; and Stop & Shop in West Caldwell, Essex County. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold, according to Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
