Veterans to lead ceremony on Nov. 11 in South Brunswick

A Veterans Day Observance Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the monument in front of the South Brunswick Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road (Route 522), South Brunswick.

Invited speakers include Chris Killmurray, mayor of South Brunswick; Sen. Christopher “Kip” Bateman, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli and Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker.

The South Brunswick High School Viking Band with directors Donna Cardaneo and Virginia Kraft will provide the music.

Veterans from Lt. John Farnkopf American Legion Post 401 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9111 will present ceremonial wreathes in honor and memory of veterans of all branches of the service.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony at VFW Post 9111, Henderson Road, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick.
