Holmdel elects two incumbents and two newcomers for board of ed

HOLMDEL–Incumbents Eileen Briamonte and Peter Reddy along with newcomers Jamie Collins and Terence Wall were elected to the Board of Education.

Seven candidates ran for the four available seats on the Holmdel Board of Education. Incumbents Briamonte, Reddy, John Martinez and faced first-time candidates Collins and Daniel Bodnar for the three-year terms.

Newcomer candidates Wall and Jaimie Ochojski and Wall ran for the one-year term.

Briamonte gained 24.19 percent of the votes and received a total 2,075 votes. Reddy obtained 22.85 percent of the votes and recorded 1,960 votes. Collins finished with 25.01 percent of the votes and registered 2,146 votes. Wall took in 58.47 percent of the votes  and collected 1,968, according to the Monmouth County Clerk website.
