Metuchen resident appreciative of Sen. Diegnan’s help

I am writing today regarding Verizon Wireless billing practices; more specifically regarding their billing of a deceased person and treatment of the widow. I was initially told I would have to continue paying until the end of the contract which seemed unfair since my deceased husband could not use a phone. Without the help of state Senator Patrick Diegnan’s (D-Middlesex) office I could not have resolved this unfair situation.

I spoke to Verizon on several occasions to settle my late husband’s phone account to no avail. I contacted Senator Diegnan’s office requesting advice and help. The Senator saw my plight and intervened on my behalf to settle the issue. It’s nice to know that some politicians care about the little people.
