North Brunswick receives grant for WWI commemoration

NORTH BRUNSWICK –  The Township of North Brunswick’s World War I Centennial Committee has been recognized for its “North Brunswick Remembers” exhibit and historic cemetery walk at Elmwood Cemetery that took place on Oct. 21.

The recently established organization received a grant from the Middlesex County Office of Culture and Heritage, provided by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the New Jersey Historical Commission.

The grant also recognizes North Brunswick Township High School for its Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 15.
