Rotary Club invites public to lay wreaths on grave sites

The Old Bridge-Sayreville Rotary Club will take part in National Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 16.

Wreaths Across America is a nationwide program which lays Christmas wreaths on the graves of fallen veterans as a tribute to their service.

The public is invited to attend a short ceremony at noon at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Johnsons Lane, Parlin section of Sayreville, rain or shine. Afterward, attendees will lay 100 wreaths on the grave sites.

The public can purchase additional wreaths by visiting www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.
