Rumson-Fair Haven seeks fifth straight state football title

The Central Jersey, Group 3 state finals will be played at High Point Solutions Stadium at Rutgers University in Piscataway. Kick off is at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs have won the last two Central Jersey, Group 3 titles, defeating South Plainfield High School, 27-22, in the 2016 finals and Red Bank Regional High School, 21-0, in the 2015 title game.

Rumson-Fair Haven won the Central Jersey, Group 2 title in 2014 and 2013, defeating Delaware Valley Regional High School, 21-0, and Weequahic High School, 14-6, respectfully.

The Bulldogs defeated Wall High School, 28-13, on Nov. 17 in the Central Jersey, Group 3 semifinals.
