Two music events at Old Bridge Library in December

The Old Bridge Public Library will offer patrons two music events in December at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.

At 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9, the Library’s Second Saturday Concert Series will feature “This Train is Bound for Glory,” a performance exploring the roots of gospel music. From 6:30-9 p.m., the library will present an “Open Mic” night. Singers, songwriters, poets, and musicians are invited to perform in a night of creative and artistic expression.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry to this free concert. Coffee, pastries and refreshments will be served. A sign-up sheet for performers for the Open Mic night will be located at the Library’s Information Services Desk until Dec. 13.
