Rumson-Fair Haven falls to Somerville in state football playoff final

The Rumson-Fair Haven High School football team lost to Somerville High School, 20-15, in the Central Jersey, Group 3 state playoff sectional final at High Point Solutions Stadium at Rutgers University in Piscataway on Dec. 2

Rumson-Fair Haven had led by a 15-14 score late in the game but Somerville drove for the winning touchdown. The loss denied the Bulldogs from winning a fifth straight state sectional playoff title.
