The Annual Colonia Business Community’s (CBC) Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Evergreen Center, 400 Inman Ave., Colonia.
Santa Claus will arrive at 6:30 p.m. and participants will be able to meet Herbie the camel and his friends at the holiday petting zoo. The event will also feature holiday carolers, pictures with Santa and refreshments. The CBC will collect donations for Toys for Tots and non-perishable food items for the We Feed Woodbridge food bank.
On Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m., the Barron Arts Center will present Sounds of the Season Holiday Concert with the “Brothers in Harmony” Barbershop Chorus performing traditional standards and holiday favorites at Woodbridge Middle School, 525 Barron Ave.
On Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Recreation Department’s annual Holiday Gingerbread Cookie Decorating will be held at Parker Press Park, 400 Rahway Ave.
On Dec. 16, from 10-11:30 a.m., the Woodbridge Recreation Department will present pictures with Santa at Parker Press Park.
On Dec. 25, the annual Christmas Friendship Dinner will be served from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Father Milos Parish Hall, 436 Port Reading Ave., Port Reading. Call St. Anthony’s Church at 732-634-1419 to confirm a seat at the table.
