Metuchen police warn not to leave keys in cars

METUCHEN — Police are warning residents and the public to lock their vehicle doors after three vehicles were stolen.

Police reported on Nov. 28 that the burglaries occurred in the past two weeks during the overnight hours in the area of Norris Avenue and Mason Drive.

Every vehicle had keys or a valet key inside the vehicle making it easy for the thieves, according to police.
