Police seek armed robber of Metro Cleaners in Dayton

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a local dry cleaners on Dec. 4.

At 6:15 p.m., police responded to the Metro Cleaners on Georges Road in the Dayton section of South Brunswick for a reported robbery.

An employee advised officers that a light skinned male reportedly entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the register, according to information provided by the South Brunswick Police Department. The employee reportedly complied and the suspect then fled from the area on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is approximately 6 feet in height, wearing a black hoodie, blue overcoat, jeans and carrying plastic yellow shopping bags, according to police.
