At the Nov. 29, 2017, Manalapan Township Committee meeting, Mayor Sue Cohen stated that I was against the “Never Forget” decal on the front of police vehicles. This is not true. My five minutes was up when she made the remark.
Quite to the contrary, I like the decal on the front of the vehicle because it takes away the excuse of not having decals on police vehicles.
And apart from the significance of remembering those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001, “Follow the Golden Rule” as a decal on the rear bumper tells all of us that remembering the Golden Rule in our foreign policy decisions will prevent future Sept. 11’s.
