Production team highlights East Brunswick as a ‘destination’

EAST BRUNSWICK – Striving to showcase the ins and outs of East Brunswick, Chiron Films Inc. has created the “Destination EB” web series.

Residents Paul Harth and Cee French Harth are the owners of Chiron Films who created and produced Destination EB, according to Cee Harth.

“Destination EB is a travel and lifestyle web series hosted on a dedicated blog site, which is all about showcasing the town of East Brunswick. This involves touring local places within East Brunswick that are unique or that have certain aspects about them that we want to highlight thus making East Brunswick a special place to live or visit,” Cee Harth said.

Chiron Films is an award-winning production company that specializes in content development for film and television, according to Paul Harth.

“East Brunswick is not only a great town and has many things to offer, but what also makes it a perfect gem is where it is located geographically. It’s uniquely situated to where residents have access to New York City, Philadelphia, the Poconos, vineyards, awesome beaches, amusement parks, venues, farms and so much more,” Cee Harth said.

Chiron Films moved to East Brunswick last year but was established elsewhere in New Jersey in 2009, according to Cee Harth.

“The idea was born when our little family bought a house and moved to East Brunswick back in March of 2016. We had done some research about the town online, but we always felt we didn’t have a clear picture of what there was to do around here. Turns out, it was the schoolyard parents picking up their children that had the answers to that,” Cee Harth said.

Cee Harth said, “Having immediately fallen in love with both the town and the community, we felt we already wanted to give back to the community. But what could we do? After all, we’re filmmakers. So after a few months of brainstorming and a lot of white board sessions, Destination EB was born.”

The host for the Destination EB is Jeff Schubert, who is originally from New York City and now resides in Los Angeles. He has more than 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry which includes acting, hosting, writing, producing, directing and blogging, according to Paul Harth.

Development began in the summer of 2016. The company has since filmed and completed the series with 13 episodes, along with some additional content, which is an interview broken into three segments with Mayor Brad Cohen. Production took place throughout October with episodes being edited and released weekly.

“Each episode varies but overall, audiences follow Schubert as he interviews people at the place of interest and other guests that might be there, is given a tour of the establishment and participates in an activity pertinent to the place or business. In addition, we’ll typically include behind-the-scenes footage, montages, etc.,” Paul Harth said.

Cee Harth said, “We created what we think is a helpful resource for people who are new or just visiting East Brunswick, to learn about what East Brunswick has to offer. In addition, it serves as a great way for local establishments and township to increase visibility as well. Coincidentally, we’ve even had people who have lived here for years and years comment that they were unaware about the some of the places we have featured. For example, there were several who did not even know there was a local theater in town.”
