The New Hope Baptist Church will present the 19th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the church, 45 Hampton St., Metuchen.
This year’s theme is entitled “The State of Civil Rights in America.” The event will be led by the Metuchen-Edison Area Interfaith Clergy Association and will include choir selections, youth and special presentations and local high school senior scholarship awards.
