Winterfest, New Year’s party at Old Bridge Library on Dec. 28

Scott Jacobs
The Old Bridge Public Lbrary hosted the Winterfest event where children crafted their own projects. An edible crafted snowman made by Vaishravi Adusumilli(right) was made out of marshmallows and pretzel sticks, and candied chocolates.

The Old Bridge Library’s popular Winterfest celebration will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the intersection of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge.

This year, one of the special highlights will be an indoor nine-hole miniature golf course. In addition, there will be games and winter-themed crafts for guests of all ages. There will also be holiday refreshments, and patrons will have the chance to win prizes and will enjoy demonstrations of the library’s 3D printer and vinyl cutter in its Idea Farm makerspace.

The library’s annual “New Year’s at Noon” celebration will also occur that day, allowing children and their families to experience the ball drop, crafts and activities at a kid-friendly time.
