Allentown residents will air traffic concerns

ALLENTOWN – Traffic issues in Allentown will be front and center at two public meetings that will be held early in 2018.

According to municipal officials, the Mayor’s Traffic Ad Hoc Committee is looking for feedback and comments from residents.

The committee is soliciting information from residents regarding any vehicular issues they may have experienced, i.e., cars or trucks hitting a home or a parked car, cars or trucks breaking street pipes, speed concerns, pedestrian safety and decreasing home values.

Residents are being asked to bring any documentation they may have, such as photos, videos, copies of legal materials, insurance claims and police reports, in addition to eyewitness accounts.

The meetings will be held in the Allentown First Aid Squad building on Waker Avenue at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 and Feb. 1.
