HOPEWELL: School board swears in Murray, Sawicki, Tracy in reorganization

Two veteran school board members and a newcomer were sworn into office at the Hopewell Valley Regional School District Board of Education’s annual reorganization meeting Monday night.

Veteran school board members Alyce Murray and Adam Sawicki, along with newcomer Sarah Tracy, were sworn into office for three-year terms on the school board. All three represent Hopewell Township on the school board.

Murray was elected school board president and Lisa Wolff was elected as vice president, effectively trading places.

In other business, the school board approved a resolution setting out its meeting dates. It will meet twice per month January through May and again in October. It will meet once per month in June, July, August, September, November and December.
