Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® choose top agents

The Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® (MORR) is pleased to announce we have chosen Gloria V. Siciliano, RE/MAX Gateway as 2017 REALTOR® OF THE YEAR and Laura Castella, Coldwell Banker Middletown as 2017 REALTOR®-ASSOCIATE OF THE YEAR. These individuals are being recognized for their effort and work expended in the interest of their community, humanitarian services, in the interest and cause of the REALTOR® Association, their profession and their clients.

Gloria Siciliano was the 2016/2017 President of the Monmouth Ocean Regional Realtors® (MORR). She has been a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey for over 19 years and earned her Brokers license in 2001.

Gloria started her real estate career at Gloria Nilson Realtors in Ocean Township and shortly after moved to RE/MAX Champions in Ocean where she managed the office. In 2006 Gloria bought the franchise and changed the name to RE/MAX Gateway. Gloria has expanded the franchise and opened an office in Ocean Grove in 2015 and an office in Asbury Park in 2017.

Gloria presently serves on the Board of Directors for both the National Association of REALTORS® and the New Jersey Realtors® and is a Committee member for the National Association of REALTORS®.

An active member of the MORR® for many years, Gloria has served on the Executive Committee since 2008 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for over 10 years. She has chaired the Circle of Excellence and Insurance Committees and has been a member of the Associates, Budget and Finance, Grievance, MLS, By-Laws and RPAC Committees.

Over the years Gloria has volunteered for a number of local organizations including the Dr. Stanley Nichols Pediatric Auxiliary; Ocean Township PTA; St. Mary’s Church in Deal; and the Educational Foundation in Ocean Township.

Gloria currently resides in Wayside with her family.

Laura Castella became a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey in 2009 and is currently an agent at Coldwell Banker Middletown. She has served on the MORR Education Committee, Associates Committee and Circle of Excellence Verification Committee. She has coordinated many education and charitable events for MORR throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. She currently serves on the Women’s Council of REALTORS and is the 2017 Treasurer.

Laura was awarded the New Jersey REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award 2014 – 2016. She was given the Five-Star Professional Award from New Jersey Monthly Magazine in both 2016 and 2017. Laura is also a member of the Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society.

Laura is an active volunteer for the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation. The foundation serves the needs of children who cannot afford medical care.

Laura resides in Hazlet with her husband and two sons.
