Rock and roll band GoodWorks and Hampton by Hilton Woodbridge are partnering to offer non-profit organizations an affordable option for producing special events and fundraising opportunities.
The organizations are hosting a free networking event from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Hampton by Hilton Woodbridge to showcase the turnkey program to nonprofit executive directors, board members and development directors.
Typical events will include entertainment from GoodWorks, the Hampton by Hilton ballroom and catering, event management and marketing support including photography, flyers, social media and publicity. Each low-cost customized event can be tailored to cultivate potential donors or underwritten by sponsors who donate to the organization and could provide giveaways at the event.
The open house networking event will run like a typical turnkey event, including a performance by GoodWorks, refreshments, and information about how the fundraising program can help nonprofits raise money and awareness. In addition to networking with similar organizations, attendees will also receive free head shots taken by a professional photographer, and raffles for a $100 donation and $100 Amazon gift card to be used by the organization.
