Make public statement with Golden Rule

In my quest to have municipal governing bodies place the words “Follow the Golden Rule” on the back of police vehicles as a way of setting the proper tone between law enforcement and citizens, at the public portion of the Manalapan Township Committee meeting on Nov. 29, 2017, I mentioned that Colin Kaepernick’s next move in stopping racism and police brutality should be to endorse this notion for all municipalities throughout the nation.

If Martin Luther King, Jr. could speak to us today, I am sure he would second the motion on this notion. Treat every human being as you would want to be treated (the Golden Rule) is universally understood.
