Suspects sought in Woodbridge car jacking

WOODBRIDGE — Police are investigating a carjacking of a 2013 Range Rover in the parking lot of the Hobby Lobby on Route 1 last week.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:29 p.m. Oct. 7, according to Police Capt. Roy Hoppock.

The victim told police as she exited her vehicle she was approached by two black males. One of the males allegedly brandished a handgun and demanded the keys to the vehicle and she immediately complied.

The two males then drove off in the Range Rover, which was recovered in Newark on Oct. 10.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Police Det. Kevin Goins at 732-602-7396.
