The screening cost is $139 and is not covered by insurance.

Screening results are generally provided within 7-10 business days. The results are provided to patients and their primary care physician, if the name and appropriate contact information is provided for their primary care physician at the time of the screening.

CentraState will send a certified letter to the patient and their primary care physician should the screening find an immediate need for follow-up intervention. CentraState recommends all participants with abnormal screening results to take the report to their physician. It is each patient’s responsibility to follow up on any results with their physician/practitioner.

Appropriate modification of risk factors, including high blood pressure, smoking, cholesterol, diabetes, and poor diet, is also necessary for cardiovascular disease prevention. Screenings cannot detect all forms of stroke risk or cardiovascular disease.

All tests are for screening purposes only. Patients should consult with their personal physician regarding their screening results.

Space is limited and registration is required. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit centrastate.com/events or call 732-308-0570.
