Untold Histories of Immigration

Do you know the whole story about why people emigrate to the United States?
The public is invited to attend a film screening this Sunday, Feb. 11,  at 6 p.m.1475 West Front St. (Unitarian meetinghouse, uucmc.org), Lincroft, which provides a historical context for this issue.
Harvest of Empire reveals little-known connections between U.S. economic and military policies and migration to this country.  An antidote to out-of-context political debates and media coverage, this film aims to increase solidarity with communities that are under attack by the federal government.
Local activists addressing these challenges will speak about their work. For more information, email sarah.klepner@gmail.com or call 732-284-6312.  All are welcome. Join and share on Facebook: Untold Immigration Stories.
