North Brunswick Library to hold crafts for Valentine’s Day

Tom Brenner
4-H Club youth volunteers write Valentines day cards for hospital patients during the Martin Luther King Day of Service project inside the Middlesex County 4-H club in East Brunswick on January 16.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the North Brunswick Library with a variety of craft programs.
Children ages 10-18 can craft yarn-shaped hearts from 3-4:30 p.m. on Feb. 8. No registration required.
Children in grades 6-12 are invited on Feb. 3 to a pop art heart workshop. No registration required.
From 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 13, adults can try their hand at iris folding, a craft technique that involves folding strips of colored paper to form a design. The center of the design forms an iris, a shape reminiscent of the iris diaphragm of a camera lens. Register online at www.northbrunswicklibrary.org.
All library programming is sponsored by the Friends of the North Brunswick Library.
