Orthopaedic surgeon to discuss total joint replacement at East Brunswick Library

The East Brunswick Library and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital will partner to present the special medical program “Considering Total Joint Replacement in 2018” at 7 p.m. on March 6 at the library, Jean Walling Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick.

Led by board certified orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Stephen Kayiaros, the program gives a brief overview of arthritis of the hip and knee, as well as outlining non-operative and surgical treatments for both. He will present the latest techniques used in knee and hip replacement surgery with a special focus on anterior approach hip replacement surgery

The program is free and open to the public. It is offered through East Brunswick Library’s Just For The Health Of It! consumer health and community wellness initiative.
