SkillUp Middlesex provides county residents with resources for job training

All Middlesex County residents can take classes, train for new job opportunities and prepare for various career certifications all for free, and all from home, with the introduction of SkillUp Middlesex.

Middlesex County has launched this free online learning platform that offers more than 4,500 courses provided by Skillsoft, a nationally recognized training provider. It builds on the programs offered through the county Office of Workforce Development’s One Stop Career Centers in New Brunswick and Perth Amboy.

SkillUp Middlesex delivers flexible, self-paced learning. Users can train for essential workplace skills, study job interview talking points and search for employment opportunities nationwide. They also can explore career pathways, prepare for industry recognized certifications, and participate in hundreds of professional development courses.

Residents can access the program through at www.middlesexcountynj.gov. Search SkillUp.
