Board approves business’s expansion plan

MARLBORO – The Marlboro Planning Board has approved an application for an addition to a manufacturing facility.

On Feb. 21, board members approved an application submitted by Lucas Development that proposed to construct a 4,180-square-foot addition to Aurora Multimedia’s warehouse/manufacturing facility on Commercial Court, off Tennent Road.

The applicant was represented by attorney Salvatore Alfieri.

In addition to creating additional space for Aurora Multimedia, the project will include wall mounted lighting along the rear of the existing building. The parking area will be reconfigured from 35 to 33 parking spaces.

Voting yes on the application were the board’s chairman, Mark Barenburg, and board members Christopher Cherbini, Michael Slotopolsky, Andrew Pargament, Steven Kansky and Lynn Franco, who is the mayor’s designee.
