Health, yoga events will be held at the Old Bridge Library

The Old Bridge Library will hold a number of health events in March at both its branches.

Cardiologist Divya Menon will present information about identifying risks for coronary artery disease from 1-4 p.m. on March 11. There will be free health screenings performed by registered nurses from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Gentle Yoga for Adults led by Hope Fisher of the Hope Yoga in Jamesburg will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 22 and will run every Thursday through April 19. There is a $25 fee to attend.

Both programs will be held at the main branch of the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.

“Health on the Web,” a program about online health information, ranging from general knowledge to tips on fitness and nutrition, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 22 at the library’s Laurence Harbor branch, 277 Shoreland Circle. For more information, call 732-566-2227.
