The American Heart Association is accepting nominations for the Twelfth Annual American Heart Association Go Red For Women “Woman of Distinction” Award. This award recognizes and celebrates New Jersey women promoting a healthy lifestyle for or among women, making sustained, unique or extraordinary efforts to improve the community as well as those who support and advance women’s issues or serve as a role model to others.
Nominations will be accepted through 5 p.m. April 2 in the following categories: Business, Industry, Healthcare; or Education, Non-Profit, Community, Civic, Other.

The award will be presented at the 16th Annual American Heart Association Garden State Go Red For Women Luncheon on May 11 at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset.
