Hammarskjold, Churchill students to present ‘Hairspray, Jr.’ March 28-29

The sixth and seventh graders of the Hammarskjold Middle School Players will present “Hairspray, Jr.” along with eighth graders from Churchill Junior High School.

Performances are 7 p.m. March 28 and 29 at the JoAnn Magistro Performing Arts Center at Hammarskjold Middle School, 200 Rues Lane, East Brunswick.

Though the production deals with themes of bullying, racism and body-shaming, family members of all ages are welcome.

Tickets are $20 for adults or $5 for students, and are available at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m.
