The Metuchen YMCA has begun a new program called Reset, Regroup, Renew, a 12-week program designed to provide a healthy outlet for adults in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Metuchen Senior Center, 15 Center St.

The program combines aspects of mindfulness like breathwork and meditation with gentle yoga and other forms of physical movement. A nutrition specialist, social worker and boxing instructor also provide services, creating a well-rounded healthy living program.

The program is open to members and non-members and is free for participants.
