Brookdale Spring Open House April 15

Brookdale Community College will open its doors to explain its program on April 15 when the school holds its annual Spring Open House.

The event will begin at 12 p.m. and will be held at the Collins Arena, which is located on the Lincroft campus.

The Spring Open House will be used to announce the 50 degree programs that are offered. The event is open to high school students, college transfers, career-changers and adult learners. The Brookdale faculty will be on hand to discuss and answer questions.

Visitors will be able to take advantage of customizable academic tours and meet with representatives from all four sectors of Brookdale’s academic institutes. These divisions of education are Business and Social Science, Health Sciences, Humanities and the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) institute.

A guided tour of Brookdale’s 220-acre campus will be conducted while the visitors can explore technology labs, art studios, performance spaces, lecture halls, classrooms, science labs and student lounges.

Financial aid and scholarships are available, as well as “Fast Start” programs for seniors in high school who seek to begin their higher-education career early.

Brookdale also offers a distinct learning experience through its honors programs, continued education for adult-learners and university partnerships that enable students to transfer to four-year academic institutions.

Representatives from Georgian Court University and Rutgers University will be on site to discuss transfer agreements/programs as well as discounted tuition for Brookdale graduates and four-year programs offered.

Visitors are also urged to explore over 50 special interest clubs, study abroad programs, career internships, and special opportunities for online learners.
