Performances of “She Kills Monsters” by the theater program in the School of the Arts of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools will be held at 7 p.m. on March 22-24 and 27-29 in the auditorium of the East Brunswick campus, 112 Rues Lane.
The play, by Qui Nguyen, follows Agnes Evans, a young woman thrust into the ultimate Dungeons and Dragons quest in an attempt to reconnect with her late, geeky younger sister.
The show will run for 90 minutes. There will be an after-party and a cosplay contest.
Presale tickets are $15 for the public and $5 for students and may be purchased through mcvtstheatre.brownpapertickets.com. At the door, tickets will be $17 for the public and $7 for students. K-12 teachers and administrators and industry professionals can attend for free.
