Sayreville students invited to participate in art contest about trees

The Sayreville Shade Tree Commission will hold a creative art contest for Sayreville students from 6-9 p.m. on April 27 at the Sayreville Senior Center, 423 Main St., Sayreville.

Students should express what a tree represents to him/her, whether a favorite tree, memory involving a tree, the beauty of a tree, etc. Categories are grades K-5, grades 6-8, high school, 3D and group project (four or more students).

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in all categories, except the Group Project, where one group will be selected.
