Brandeis meeting to celebrate special needs of the elderly

Brandeis University Middlesex Chapter will “Celebrate Uniqueness: Moving From Adulthood to Oldhood” at 1 p.m. on April 18 at the East Brunswick Library, Civic Center Drive off Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.

Dr. Teresa Schaer, former chief of Geriatric Medicine at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, will talk about strategies to meet the special needs of Americans 65 and older.

The April social justice collection for Women Aware’s annual Mother’s Day Drive will collect toiletries for mothers, books, and toys for children.
