Mariam Attia of Morganville has been initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, at Fordham University, Bronx, N.Y.

Alexis Janoczkin of Freehold Township, the daughter of Donna Swenticky, has been named to the president’s list (4.0 GPA) at Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C., for the 2017 fall semester. Alexis is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and is majoring in biology and chemistry, with a minor in Spanish. She is a graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Samantha Gross of Freehold Township has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn. Samantha is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Caitlin Ramos of Manalapan, a student at McDaniel College, Westminster, Md., has been inducted into the Delta of Maryland Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. The Phi Beta Kappa society is the nation’s oldest academic honor society.

Kaitlyn Eve Spitzer, the daughter of Shari and Justin Spitzer of Manalapan, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester at the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences of Pace University, New York City. Kaitlyn is a 2017 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Michael Havkins, a senior business administration major from Manalapan, was one of 40 Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., student-athletes recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the field with their selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter 2017-18 season. To be named to the academic honor roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average. Michael participates in track and field.

Jeremy B. Gerringer of Marlboro has been named to the dean’s list following the 2017 fall semester at St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y. Jeremy is a member of the class of 2019 and is majoring in statistics and business in the liberal arts. He is a graduate of Marlboro High School.

Nicholas DePierro of Manalapan was among the University of Scranton, Pa., students inducted into Eta Kappa Nu, the student honor society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. DePierro is a senior majoring in electrical engineering.
