Temple Emanu-El will hold Shabbat ALIVE! featuring a three-piece band at 7 p.m. on May 11 at the temple, 100 James St., Edison.
TOT Shabbat! for children up to age six will be held at 6 p.m. on May 18, and will include a Jewish-themed art/craft session.
A Festival of Shavuot will be held on May 19. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.; the cost is $16 for adults or $11 for children. Must RSVP in advance. The Shavout service begins at 7 p.m. At 9:30 p.m., a late night study session will be held.
Then, at 10:30 a.m. on May 20, a Yizkor and Chag service will be followed by a potluck dairy lunch.
