The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy is working with the national YMCA office, Y-USA, to conduct a community needs assessment within its service areas.

Based on the responses, the Y will design and deliver new and enhanced programs and services at its three branches in Metuchen, Edison and South Amboy that address critical issues in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

The survey launched on April 9 at tinyurl.com/ymcacna. Responses are not individually tracked and are kept confidential. The assessment should take approximately five minutes to complete and the results will be compiled into an executive summary that will be shared with community partners.

In addition, for those who complete the survey, the YMCA of MEWSA is offering entry into a raffle to win a free 3-month membership.
