Workshop to address items ‘hidden’ in children’s bedrooms

The South Amboy Municipal Alliance, the South Amboy Board of Education and the YMCA of South Amboy will hold “Hidden in Plain Sight” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on May 3 at South Amboy High School, 200 Governor Harold G. Hoffman Plaza.

The workshop is a free substance abuse prevention program for parents, which will increase awareness with an interactive tour of what may be hidden in a child’s bedroom. This event is open to all parents, caregivers, adults over 21, community members, educators and adults working with youth. No one under 21 will be permitted to attend.
