South Brunswick Police to collect unwanted medication on April 28

The South Brunswick Police Department will take part in DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 28 at police headquarters, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

This one-day event will provide residents with anonymous collection of unwanted and expired medicines at no cost.

Prescription medication in the form of pills, tablets or capsules should be taken out of their original containers and placed into paper or plastic bags. Liquids, such as cough medicines, should be kept in their original containers. No syringes or sharp objects will be accepted.
