Aberdeen to hold paper shredding event May 5

Aberdeen Township will sponsor a paper shredding event on May 5 at the  municipal building.

The free service will be available to Monmouth County residents from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Up to 100 pounds of paper per person can be shredded on site. The event will conclude once the truck is full. Documents should be free of large binder clips, paper clips and staples, according to a press release.

The event requires proof of Monmouth County residency.

The municipal building is located at 1 Aberdeen Square.
