Bark for Life successful in the fight against cancer

On April 29, 18 walker-teams raised $17,265 for the American Cancer Society during the first “Bark For Life of Central NJ” at Mannino Park in Old Bridge. More than 230 participants and 125 dogs attended the community dog walk and festival. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit research, patient services, advocacy and cancer prevention programs.
