For the second year, the Central Jersey Diaper Bank is asking for financial donations to support its program providing free diapers, wipes, clothes, formula, and other basic needs to low-income families.

The Diaper Bank is the only one in the area, this year distributing more than 100,000 diapers to more than 700 families of all religions and races in the greater Middlesex County community.

In honor of Mother’s Day, supporters are asked to donate in a range of amounts: $36 helps provide diapers and wipes for two weeks; $1,000, helps provide diapers and wipes for 12 months, plus six new baby outfits and a car seat. Any amount is appreciated, and all donations go directly to services for families.

A program of the non-profit Anshe Emeth Community Development Corporation, the Diaper Bank has been serving families since 2010. All donations are tax-deductible.
