Forsgate Country Club will hold a Casino & Poker Tournament on June 9, open to the public, at the club, 375 Forsgate Dr., Monroe.
An entry fee of $100 for the poker tournament provides 10,000 poker chips, a buffet dinner and raffle.
For $45, guests can participate in just the casino games (blackjack, roulette, craps and the wheel of fortune), the buffet and 500 chips for poker.
Guaranteed minimum prize pool is $7,500.
A special feature is a poker tutorial led by poker expert and author Dr. Richard Lederer, who is the father of former World Series of Poker in Las Vegas winners Annie Duke and Howard Lederer.
The one-hour instructional program starts at 5 p.m., with the casino opening at 6 p.m. and the poker tournament beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. The night ends by 10:30 p.m.
Reservations are necessary by calling 732-521-0070. Register for poker by May 31 to receive a bonus of 500 chips.
All net proceeds will go to the Forsgate Foundation.
