North Brunswick resident charged with stabbing incident in North Woods complex

 

NORTH BRUNSWICK – Police were dispatched to Oak Road in North Brunswick for a reported stabbing around 5:17 p.m. on April 30.

Officers located an individual down in front of that address. The semi-conscious male victim had been stabbed multiple times and was bleeding. The victim reportedly had no relation to the home, but appeared to have collapsed at the point after exiting the nearby apartment complex, according to information provided by the North Brunswick Police Department.

The victim was treated by the North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJ) in New Brunswick.

Patrol officers and detectives discovered the victim had reportedly been attacked within the North Woods apartment complex, according to reports.

Police charged a 24-year-old North Brunswick resident in the incident. He was been remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick, facing numerous charges.

The victim is recovering from his wounds at RWJ, police said.
