Registration open for co-ed softball tournament to benefit pancreatic cancer research

The Middlesex County Department of Public Safety and Health, Health Services Office, and the Office of Parks and Recreation, will sponsor a co-ed softball tournament on July 21 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Warren Park in Woodbridge.

Twelve teams will be accepted, and each team is guaranteed to play three games. Space is limited. Teams are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Donation and application are due at time of registration. Registration will close July 16.

All proceeds will benefit pancreatic cancer research at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Suggested donation is $250 per team. Donations should be made in the form of a check or money order payable to “CINJ – RUF” (Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey – Rutgers University Foundation).

Umpire fees are $24 per game.
