Fitness event to include information on stroke awareness

The Walk With a Doc Fitness Event will be held from 10-1:30 a.m. on May 22 at the gazebo at the Level Playing Fields at Roosevelt Park, off of Route 1 south and Parsonage Road, Edison.

While walking at your own pace, you’ll have the opportunity to have questions answered by clinical research nurse Briana DeCarvalho of the Stroke and Neuromuscular Center at JFK Neuroscience Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health-JFK Medical Center. The featured topic is stroke awareness.
