Free program for people with diabetes offered in East Brunswick

Any person on Medicare who is living with diabetes can meet others going through similar experiences and learn about diabetes and its risks, preventing complications, healthy eating, exercise, medication management, dealing with stress and depression and action planning from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. from June 4 to July 9 at the East Brunswick Library, Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick.

Healthy snacks, literature, and resources will be provided.

To register, call the library’s Information Services Desk at 732-390-6767.

Quality Insights is collaborating with the Middlesex County Office of Health Services to offer the workshop as part of Everyone with Diabetes Counts (EDC). The EDC program is a national initiative of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Learn more at www.qualityinsights-qin.org.
